This product has been sanded to a smooth finish which brings out its natural beauty. When left natural and out in the sun the cedar wood weathers gracefully to a silvery gray color. You may leave this outdoor furniture natural or it may be sealed or stained as desired.

Northern White Cedar
Northern White cedar is creamy white in color. Cedar is an excellent choice for outside furniture because it is naturally resistant to decay and insects.
All log furniture is subject to the natural process of checking. Checking, or cracking, happens as wood releases moisture, and normally occurs across or through the annual growth rings. It is the usual result of wood seasoning and does not affect the structural performance or integrity of the wood. The wood is allowed to dry for many months before it goes into production to ensure that 99% of all checking is already done.
